United Continental Holdings, Inc. (UAL) is a holding company and its principal wholly owned subsidiary is United Air Lines, Inc. (United). The Company transports people and cargo through its mainline operations, which use jet aircraft with at least 118 seats, and its regional operations. It has global air rights in North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. The Company, through United and its regional carriers, operates an average of 5,055 flights a day to 373 airports across six continents from the Company’s hubs at Newark Liberty International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, A.B. Won Pat International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. It has contractual relationships with a range of regional carriers to provide regional jet and turboprop service branded as United Express.
