Description

Monaco Coach Corporation is a manufacturer of recreational vehicles, including Class A, B and C motor coaches, as well as towable recreational vehicles. The Company also develops and sells luxury motorcoach resort facilities. The Company operates in three segments: Motorized Recreational Vehicle (MRV) segment, the Towable Recreational Vehicle (TRV) segment, and the Motorhome Resort (MR) segment. During the fiscal year ended December 29, 2007, the Company completed the formation of a joint venture with International Truck and Engine Corporation (ITEC) for the purpose of manufacturing diesel chassis. The geographic markets that the Company has targeted are located in the southeast (Florida), and the southwest (California and Nevada). In March 2009, the Company filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
