Eight small Chinese banks raise deposit rates in bid for savings
BEIJING/SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Eight small Chinese banks have raised their one-year deposit rates to the 3.3 percent maximum allowed after China's central bank cut its interest rates and allowed greater deposit flexibility last week.

NEW YORK (AP) - Silicon Valley seems to have more than its share of companies behaving badly. Among up-and-comers in the tech world, privacy abuses and executive gaffes have become viral sensations.
American Automobile Association officials said more than 5.6 million Californians plan to travel 50 miles or more during the four-day Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to the latest travel survey from AAA.
The unemployment rate in San Bernardino County remained at 7.7 percent in October, the same as it was the previous month, according to data released Nov. 21 by the California Employment Development Department.
