NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks on major world markets slumped while bonds rallied on Thursday as tensions between Russia and the West increased over Ukraine and concerns about a Chinese economic slowdown rose.
BP has reached an agreement with the US Environmental Protection Agency that will allow the energy company to resume bidding for federal government contracts, ending a ban resulting from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster.
