AltaGas Income Trust is a natural gas and power infrastructure business. Its gas business comprises gathering and processing assets, such as natural gas gathering pipelines and processing facilities. It operates through five segments: Field Gathering and Processing (FG&P), which includes 76 natural gas gathering and processing facilities in 30 operating areas; Extraction and Transmission (E&T), which includes natural gas liquids (NGL) processing and extraction plants and transmission pipelines to transport natural gas and NGL’s; Power Generation, which includes 392 megawatts of total power generation capacity through a 50% ownership interest in the Sundance B PPAs, a capital lease for 25 megawatts of gas-fired peaking capacity; Energy Services, including energy consulting and sale of natural as and electricity, and Corporate, including investments in public and private entities. In October 2009, AltaGas Income Trust acquired AltaGas Utility Group Inc.
