Description

Alamo Group Inc. is a player in the design, manufacture, distribution and service of equipment for right-of-way maintenance and agriculture. Its products include tractor-mounted mowing and other vegetation maintenance equipment, street sweepers, excavators, vacuum trucks, snow removal equipment, pothole patchers, agricultural implements and related aftermarket parts and services. It operates 17 plants in North America, Europe and Australia. It sells its products through a network of independent dealers and distributors, governmental end-users, related independent contractors, as well as to the agricultural and commercial turf markets. It operates primarily in the United States, England, France, Canada, and Australia. On May 30, 2008, the Company acquired Rivard Developpement S.A.S., which is a manufacturer of vacuum trucks, high-pressure cleaning systems and trenchers. In October 2009, Alamo Group, Inc. completed the acquisition of the majority of the assets of Bush Hog, LLC.
