In August 2008, the Company announced that Merhav-Ampal Energy Ltd. (MAE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ampal, completed the acquisition of 99.99% interest in Gadot Chemical Tankers and Terminals Ltd. In January 2010, the Company completed the acquisition of the business of 012 Smile.Communications Ltd., through its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, 012 Smile Telecom Ltd.
