Wereldhave NV is a Netherlands-based closed-end real estate investment company. Its real estate activities are divided into such sectors, as Offices, which focuses on investments located in modern buildings in major metropolitan areas; Retail, which invests primarily in shopping centers in countries with restricted retail planning, and Other, which focuses on property development. The Company manages and develops shopping centers, offices, industrial distribution and transhipment properties. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held investments in the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, France, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 16 wholly owned subsidiaries, including Wereldhave Finland Oy, Clichy Investissements S.A.S., Wereldhave Management Holding B.V., Relovast B.V. and Wereldhave U.K. Holdings Ltd., among others, as well as held 39.1% direct shares of C.V.A. Belgium S.C.A.
