The Asia Pacific Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through investment of at least 80% of investable assets in equity securities of companies in the Asia Pacific countries. It invests in sectors, such as information technology, banking, telecommunications, industrials, energy, diversified financials, materials, utilities, consumer staples and consumer discretionary. The Fund’s investment manager is Baring Asset Management (Asia) Limited and its administrator is Prudential Investments LLC.
