Apoquindo Minerals Inc. (Apoquindo) is primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of optioned mineral properties. As of March 31, 2009, the Company is conducting mineral exploration for base metal and gold-silver properties in South America. The Company is focused on acquiring and developing oxide copper prospects in Chile and Peru, as well as acquiring, optioning and exploring properties with potential for mega-deposits of copper and gold potential in Latin America. Apoquindo has South American offices in Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru and has two wholly owned subsidiaries, Sociedad Contractual Minera Apoquindo Chile, and Minera Koritambo Peru S.A.C. Its other properties include, the Serra Verde Property is located in the Carajas District, Para State, Brazil, the Rio Verde Property is located in the Carajas District, Para State, Brazil, Madrugador Property- Chile, Elenita Property-Chile, Huarman, Pachagon, both based in Peru.
