Atlas Iron Limited is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the operation of the Pardoo iron ore mine and the development of the Wodgina and Abydos mines in the Pilbara in Western Australia. The Company’s projects include Pardoo Project, Ridley Magnetite Project, Abydos Project, Wodgina Project, Mt Webber Project and Midwest Project. The Pardoo Project is located approximately 75 kilometers east of Port Hedland. The Ridley resource consists of banded iron formation (BIF), which forms part of the Ridley Range. As of June 30, 2009, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries included Atlas Operations Pty Ltd, St George Magnetite Pty Ltd, Mt Gould Minerals Pty Ltd, Weld Range Iron Ore Pty Ltd, Tiziflower Investments Inc and Jakkitower Enterprises SA. As of June 30, 2009, the Company held 42.73% interest in Shaw River Resources.
