Carbine Tungsten Limited, formerly Icon Resources Ltd, is engaged in the exploration for deposits of minerals. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company was focused on tin, zinc and gold. Its main focus is on the Mt Carbine Tungsten mine near Cairns in north Queensland. Icon, through its 100%-owned subsidiaries, holds granted tenements and application over areas along the northwest margin of prospective Mt Isa block in northwest Queensland. Its other projects include Burketown, New Century, Fitzroy, South-East Queensland, Northern NSW, Tara project and Professor Project. These project areas cover targets with potential for sediment-hosted zinc mineralization and iron oxide copper-gold-uranium deposits. Within the Burketown tenement the primary exploration target is iron oxide copper-gold mineralizing system. The Fitzroy project covers a belt of volcanic rocks to the north of Rockhampton.
