Carbine Tungsten Limited, formerly Icon Resources Ltd, is an Australia-based tungsten producer. The Company’s flagship project is the Mt Carbine tungsten mine located in Far North Queensland. The project is on granted Mining Leases with power, water, tailings storage and Environmental Approval in place for the first stage of production. The mine is approximately 130 kilometers from the port of Cairns. The Mt Carbine tungsten mineralization is a low grade. (the grade of the inferred hard-rock resource at Mt Carbine is 0.14%WO3 at a cut-off of 0.05% WO3, and comparable with other large tungsten deposits of a similar geological style). Also, the Company’s Mt Carbine mine has two prospects including Iron Duke and Petersen’s Lode, which lies within EPM 14871 and 14872. These prospects are dominated by scheelite mineralization. The Company operates through subsidiaries including Mt Carbine Quarries Pty Ltd.
