Citigold Corporation Ltd (Citigold) is an Australia-based gold mining and exploration company, producing gold from the Australia’s goldfield at Charters Towers in north east Australia, 1000 kilometers north of Brisbane, Queensland. The Company holds 100% of the Charters Towers goldfield. It holds mineral lands in the Charters Towers area totaling 370 square kilometers. As of June 30, 2009, a total of 162 holes were drilled totaling 40,792 meters drilled, of which 14,963 meters were drilled from underground. Citigold’s mineral tenements cover an area of 360 square kilometers in the Charters Towers goldfield. The Charters Towers mines are situated 128 kilometers southwest of the major coastal City of Townsville and are on the main Flinders Highway leading west from Townsville to the inland mining city of Mt. Isa.
