Description
Energy Resources of Australia Limited is an Australia-based uranium producer. The principal activities of the Company are mining, processing and sale of uranium. Company mines ore and produces uranium at its Ranger mine, 260 kilometers east of Darwin, in Australia�s northern territory, ERA�s Ranger mine lies within the 79 square kilometer Ranger Project Area. The Jabiluka deposit also held by ERA is 22 kilometers north of Ranger. ERA sells its product, drummed uranium oxide, to power utilities in Asia, Europe and North America. During the year ended December 31, 2012, ERA produced approximately 3,710 tons of drummed uranium oxide. During 2012, sales of uranium oxide were 3,223 tons.
