Focus Minerals Ltd (Focus) is a gold producer and explorer with operations in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The Company is engaged in gold, nickel and other base metal mining and exploration in Australia. The Company operates in three segments: Coolgardie, Laverton and Corporate. Focus operates two production centers in Western Australia�s Eastern Goldfields. The Company�s Coolgardie Gold Project includes Tindals Project, Mount Project, Lindsays Project, Three Mile Hill Project and Norris Project. Laverton Gold Project includes Laverton-underground and Laverton-surface. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012 (fiscal 2012), Focus ramped up two production centers at Coolgardie: the Tindals Open Pits and The Mount underground. Mineral Resources for the Laverton Gold Project are owned by Focus Minerals (Laverton) Limited. In May 2013, Focus Minerals Ltd completed the compulsory acquisition of all remaining shares in Focus Minerals (Laverton) Ltd.
