Gindalbie Metals Ltd. is an Australia-based iron ore company engaged in developing a portfolio of projects in the State’s Mid West region. The Company is engaged in exploration for and evaluation of iron ore projects and joint venturing with other mining companies to explore for minerals. The Company’s subsidiaries include Karara Energy Pty Ltd, Karara Pellet Plant Ltd, Karara Rail Pty Ltd and Gindalbie (Anketell) Ltd. The Company is developing its Karara Iron Ore Project in joint venture with Anshan Iron & Steel Group Corporation (AnSteel), a steel and iron ore company. As of June 30, 2009, the Company held a 50% interest in the Karara Group, comprising Karara Mining Ltd, Karara Management Services Pty Ltd, DSO Ventures Pty Ltd, Karara Infrastructure Pty Ltd and Karara Port Services Pty Ltd.
