King Island Scheelite Limited is an Australia-based company. The primary focus of King Island Scheelite Limited (KIS) is to redevelop the tungsten mines on King Island (Tasmania). KIS has also entered joint venture agreements with Pleiades Resources Pty Ltd to explore an area of historic high grade copper and tin-tungsten mineralization. The Company has one project named the Dolphin Project comprising Dolphin, Bold Head and Tailings deposits of 9,109,000 tonnes containing 81,720 tonnes of WO3. This mill will produce approximately 3,500 tonnes of 65% tungsten concentrate per annum. The project is located near the town of Grassy, on the south east coast of King Island, the most western large island in Bass Strait.
