Kagara Ltd is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the mineral exploration, development and mineral production. The Company operates within a single segment, namely base metals production in Australia. It processed and mined ore from Balcooma open pit, Balcooma underground, Mt Garnet underground and Mungana underground mining operations. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company achieved a copper metal production of 37,043 tonnes. The Company’s subsidiaries include Mungana Pty Ltd, Kagara Copper Pty Ltd, Kagara Nickel Pty Ltd and Mungana Goldmines Ltd. During 2009, the Company sold its interests in Metallica Minerals Ltd and Glengarry Resources Ltd.
