Mintails Limited (MLI) is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the production of gold from the mining and processing of surface resources, and investments. The Company is focused on the development, processing and production of gold and potentially uranium, and sulphuric acid from mining tailings located on the West and East Rand areas of the Witwatersrand Basin, near Johannesburg, South Africa. The Company also holds 50% interest in the ERGO Mines Joint Venture with DRDGold Limited in respect to substantial tailings resources located on the East Rand. As of June 30, 2009 the Company owned 27% interest in West Wits Mining Limited. The Company’s subsidiaries include Carapace Pty Ltd, VIDC Pty Ltd, Jodine Limited, Mintails SA (Pty) Ltd and Mogale Gold (Pty) Ltd.
