Minara Resources Limited is an Australia-based company engaged in the production of nickel. The principal activities of the Company during the period were the operation of the Murrin Murrin Nickel/ Cobalt Project (the Project or the joint venture or Murrin Murrin), involving the mining and processing of laterite ore to produce nickel and cobalt, exploration for nickel directly and in joint ventures with third parties and research and development of nickel/cobalt heap leaching and other hydrometallurgical methods of nickel extraction.
