Description

Azimuth Resources Limited (Azimuth) is engaged in the exploration of gold and uranium in Guyana. During the fiscal year June 30, 2012 (fiscal 2012), Azimuth continued explore its package of gold and uranium properties in Guyana, South America. Azimuth has three projects in Guyana: the West Omai Gold Project, the East Omai Gold Project and the Amakura Uranium Project. The West Omai Gold Project is an approximately 1,100 square kilometers advanced exploration project covering a 50 kilometer strike portion of the same structural stratigraphic corridor (the Omai- Hicks-Kaburi Corridor), which hosts the Omai gold mine, located 15 kilometer to the south-east of the project. The East Omai Gold Project is a 7,636 square kilometers green fields exploration project. The Amakura Uranium project is a 4,000 square kilometers permit located in the northwest of Guyana. On September 18, 2012, the Company announced the acquisition of 576 square kilometers at the Company� East and West Omai projects.
