BCD Resources NL is engaged in minerals exploration and mining business. The Company�s principal activities include gold production and exploration at the Tasmania Mine in north-east Tasmania and mineral exploration in Tasmania and Victoria. The Company has 311 square kilometers in Western Victoria encompassing two copper project areas: the wholly owned area at Stavely, located 100 kilometers west of Ballarat and the wholly owned project at Ararat Copper, 40 kilometers north east of Stavely. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012 (fiscal 2012), it ceased underground mining operations at the Tasmania Mine. In September 2012, the Company announced that it had finalized the purchase from Range River Gold Ltd (RRG) of RRG�s 49% interest in the Ararat copper deposit in Western Victoria. The project consists of two granted exploration Licenses EL3019 and EL4758. In March 2013, the Company announced the completion of the sale process of its Victorian copper assets.
