Global Metals Exploration NL (Global Metals), formerly Global Nickel Investments NL, is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company's flagship project is the Jutson Rocks Greenstone Belt (JRGB; Jutson Rocks), located 125 kilometers northeast of Laverton in the eastern goldfields of Western Australia - one of the greenstone belts in all of Western Australia (WA) to remain relatively untested by the exploration industry. Global Nickel represents approximately 90% of the prospective area. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company withdrew from the Longwoods and Roundhill projects in New Zealand, as well as its 50% holding in the Emmaville Bauxite project in New South Wales. During the same fiscal year, five more tenements at the Jutson Rocks Project were granted (E 38/2351 to 2353 and P 38/3880 and 3881) leaving only E 38/2405 to be granted. The Company also applied for E 70/4081, a tenement near Watheroo in WA with prospects for potash deposits.
