The Company operates in two segments: Oil & Gas, which includes all oil and gas operations located in the USA. Revenue is derived from the sale of oil and gas and operation of wells, and Investments, which include all investments in listed and unlisted entities, including the investment in Empire Energy Group USA. Revenue is derived from the sale of the investments. The Company�s revenue from external customers is derived from operations in the USA. On December 23, 2010, the Company acquired Amadeus and T-N-T. The Empire Group has a land position of 303,000 acres in New York State of which 220,000 acres are in the Marcellus and 180,000 acres in the Utica shale fairway of Western New York State.
