Morning Star Gold NL is an Australia-based company engaged in gold exploration across five Eastern Victorian mining tenements and refurbishment of the Morning Star goldmine. The Company is a gold producer and explorer focused on the gold producing ore bodies in the Eastern Victorian goldfields. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company was also focused on surrounding exploration opportunities at several historic gold production sites. The Company�s projects include Eastern Victorian tenements and Morning Star mine. Its Eastern Victorian tenements area, consisting of granted exploration licenses (ELs) and mining licenses (MINs), covers approximately 200 square kilometers. Its granted ELs and MINs, including ELs 5079 & 4320 and MINs 5009, 5299 & 5241, cover three shear zones, which have historically hosted the major mineralization in the district.
