Mineral Resources Limited is an integrated supplier of goods and services to the resources sector. The Company has operations in build, own and operate crushing, screening, processing and materials handling, general mine infrastructure, bulk iron ore and manganese commodities production and export and polyethylene pipeline fabrication, pipe lining, pipe fittings manufacture and pipeline installation. The Company operates in two segments: mining services and processing, including the traditional MRL operations, and mining, including the Polaris, Mesa, Auvex and Central Pilbara tenements operations operating within the resources sector of the Australian economy. In March 2011, Company completed construction of a 19 million tons per annum crushing and processing plant at the Christmas Creek mine and commenced operations under the 10 year build, own and operate contract with Fortescue Metals Group. On August 2, 2011, the Company completed the acquisition of Auvex Resources Limited.
