Aguia Resources Ltd is an Australia-based mineral resource company. The Company completed the acquisition of Potassio do Atlantico Ltda (PALTDA) and through this subsidiary holds a 100% interest in 106 exploration claims totaling approximately 178,000 hectares in the Sergipe Alagoas basin that comprise the Atlantic Potash Project. On June 23, 2010, the Company acquired 100% of Aguia Metals Ltda, which holds Phosphate Projects in Brazil. The Company's Lucena Phosphate Project covers 72,568 hectares all located within a 50 kilometer radius around the city of Joao Pessoa, capital of the Paraiba state in north eastern Brazil. The Company's Mata da Corda Phosphate Project is located within 150 kilometers of the three phosphate mines in Brazil, being Araxa-Vale (290 metric tons at 14.88% phosphate), Tapira-Vale (744 metric tons at 8.35% phosphate) and Catalao-Anglo/Vale (203 metric tons at 8.80% phosphate).
