Orocobre Limited (Orocobre) is a mineral exploration company. The Company's exploration focus is on lithium, potash and salar minerals in Argentina. The Olaroz Project, located in the Puna region of Jujuy Province of northern Argentina approximately 230 kilometres northwest of the capital city of Jujuy at an altitude of 3900 metres above sea level, is the Company�s flagship project. The Company holds rights to properties at the Olaroz Project covering approximately 63,000 hectares, of which approximately 21,000 hectares is prospective salt crust and salar margins. It has a partner on the Olaoroz Project with Toyota Tsusho Corporation. Salinas Grandes is located in the Puna region of Argentina, approximately 70 kilometers from Orocobre's Olaroz Project. In August 2012, the Company acquired Borax Argentina S.A. from Rio Tinto Ltd entities, Rio Tinto Minerals Development Limited and Borax Europe Limited.
