PharmAust Limited is an Australia-based drug discovery and development company. The Company operates in three segments: corporate, exploration and pharmaceutical. The corporate segment covers all the corporate overhead expenses. The exploration segment relates to the Company's operations for the exploration of tenements for minerals, oil and gas. The pharmaceutical segment provides products and services in synthetic and medicinal chemistry to the drug discovery and pharmaceutical industries. The Company develops its own drug discovery, as well as provides specialized medicinal and synthetic on a contract basis to clients. The Company�s subsidiaries include Epichem Pty Ltd, Pela Resources Pty Ltd and RI Energetika DOO Skopje. On the 19 August 2011, the Company acquired 100% interest of Pela Resources Pty Ltd.
