Peninsula Minerals Limited is an Australia-based company engaged in uranium explorations. The Company explores uranium on three continents, with its primary focus on the Lance uranium projects in Wyoming United States and the Karoo uranium/molybdenum projects in the Republic of South Africa. The Lance Projects are located on the North-East flank of the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. The Karoo Projects, located in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape Provinces of South Africa comprise six project areas that cover a total area of 1,985 square kilometers. The Company holds 50% interest in Raki Raki Gold Project located in the north of Viti Levu, consisting of three gold prospects (Qalau, 4300E and Tataliya Ridge), which covers 137.3 square kilometer. It operates in Australia, South Africa, the United States and Fiji. In January 2009 the Company announced the acquisition of ground containing 506 historic drill holes.
