Shaw River Manganese Limited is a manganese focused exploration and development company. It is focused into developing its 75.5% owned Otjozondu Project (Otjo) in Namibia, which has a mineral resource of 10.7 million tons at 22.2% manganese. It also has other manganese exploration projects in Ghana and the East Pilbara Manganese Province of Western Australia: Dingo Creek Project, Butre manganese project, Noreena Downs, Western Australia Gold and Base Metal Projects, and 701 Mile Project. As of June 30, 2012, it has conducted three phases of mineral resource assessment in the Otjozondu Project. It holds exploration and mining licenses of 1,367 square kilometers, covering over 90% of the known strike of the Otjozondu manganese field. The Company�s Butre manganese project is located in the republic of Ghana in West Africa. It holds manganese and iron rights in two tenements at the 701 Mile Project, which is located 80 kilometers south of the iron ore town of Newman in Western Australia.
