Western Desert Resources Limited is an Australia-based company engaged in the exploration for iron ore, gold, base metal and other economic mineral deposits, and the development of Mining Operations at the Roper Bar project, Northern Territory. The Company�s Roper Bar project consists of six granted exploration licences and five Mineral Leases, which are located about 240kilometer east of Mataranka in the Gulf Country of the Northern Territory. The Mountain Creek Project lies to the northwest of the Roper Bar lron Ore Project. The project consists of EL27I43 and E125688. The East Rover Copper-Gold Project covers three granted exploration licences in the Tennant Creek district. The Company holds a number of small mining leases and mineral claims in the Tennant Creek goldfield, including Hopeful Star (M1624), Hopeful Star East (M1632), Golden Mile (M1625), Mystery (MCC1089-1091) and M29 (MCC1092-1095).
