Description
White Energy Company Limited (White Energy) is an Australia-based coal company. The Company is focused on the commercialization of coal upgrading technologies, and also holds EL4534, a coal exploration tenement located in South Australia. White Energy has two business divisions: coal technology and coal mining. The Company operates in three segments: coal technology, exploration and agriculture. White Energy is the license holder of the Binderless Coal Briquetting (BCB) technology. In December 2011, White Energy completed a drilling program, which was aimed at identifying additional JORC coal resources at SACL�s Lake Phillipson deposit (EL4534). This program resulted in an upgraded JORC resource estimate of 1,130.4 million tons as of 31 December 2011. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012, it completed 95% of the Tabang Plant modifications.
