Augme Technologies, Inc. (Augme) is engaged in mobile marketing and advertising technology and services. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary Hipcricket, Inc. (Hipcricket) is a mobile marketing company, which creates measurable, real-time, one-to-one relationships between advertisers and their customers and prospective customers using text messages, multimedia messages, mobile Websites, mobile applications, mobile coupons, quick response codes and a mobile advertising network. On July 22, 2011, the Company acquired the business and substantially all of the assets of JAGTAG, Inc. (JAGTAG). On August 25, 2011, the Company acquired Hipcricket. On March 14, 2012, Hipcricket, Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Augme. In May 2012, the Company acquired a range of five issued United States patents. In March 2013, the Company and Hipcricket Inc announced the divestiture of a non-core division of the Company based in Tucson, Arizona.
