Alpha Wastewater, Inc., formerly Silicon South, Inc. is a development-stage company. China Wastewater, Incorporated (China Wastewater) is the Company�s subsidiary. China Wastewater is an environmental management, manufacturing and technology company focused on wastewater treatment with a focus on water recycling. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had been focused on developing its operations in China. The Company is focused on wastewater and water management projects in cities in China, which may include packaged systems; municipal wastewater treatment; industrial wastewater treatment, and treatment for water reuse. On May 13, 2011, the Company purchased the world rights to the Upflow Sludge Blanket Filtration (USBF) trademark and patent. The USBF Technology is not limited to the packaged treatment market, but can also be applied to municipal water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment and wastewater treatment for water reuse.
