The American Psychological Association (APA) works to advance mental health: yours and that of its members. The APA is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the US, as well as the world's largest association of psychologists. The association seeks to advance the study and practice of psychology in the US. It is also vocal about the role of psychological services in health care reform. It offers members career resources, insurance, and financial and other services. The APA has more than 134,000 members, including researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants, and students, as well some 55 professional divisions.
