It targets firms with revenues ranging between $100 million and $750 million annually; it has some $7 billion of capital under management on behalf of institutional investors and wealthy families, as well as its own account. The company's capital markets group manages investments in fixed-income products, high-yield bonds, and senior secured bank notes. Levine Leichtman also invests between $5 million and $15 million per transaction in emerging firms in California. The firm was founded in 1984 by its president Arthur Levine and CEO Lauren Leichtman.
