Birner Dental Management Services, Inc. provides business services to dental group practices in select markets, including Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. The Company provides business services to 61 Offices in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona staffed by 78 dentists and 33 specialists. As of December 31, 2008, the Company provided business services to 61 Offices, of which 35 were acquired and 26 were developed internally (de novo Offices). The Company provides a solution to the needs of dentists, patients and third-party payors by allowing the Company’s affiliated dentists to provide dental care in family practice settings. Dentists practicing at the various locations provide general dentistry services, and the Company offers specialty dental services through affiliated specialists.
