Buckeye Technologies Inc. manufactures and distributes cellulose-based specialty products used in numerous applications, including disposable diapers, personal hygiene products, engine air and oil filters, food casings, rayon filament, acetate plastics, thickeners and papers. The Company’s product lines are grouped into four categories: chemical cellulose, customized fibers, fluff pulp and nonwoven materials. It manages these products in two segments: specialty fibers and nonwoven materials. The Company sells its products in approximately 60 countries worldwide. The Company operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada, Germany and Brazil. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, sales in North America, Europe, Asia and South America accounted for 45%, 34%, 14% and 4% respectively and 3% in other regions.
