Bona Film Group Limited is a film distributor. The Company distributes films to Greater China, Korea, Southeast Asia, the United States and Europe, invests and produces movies in a variety of genres, owns and operates 15 movie theaters and manages a range of Chinese artists. The Company operates in four segments: film distribution, which revenues are consists of its share of the box office receipts for its distribution services; film investment and production, which generates revenues from its own distribution entities; talent agency, which generates revenues for its talent agency services, and movie theater, which generates revenues from ticket sales and concession sales at the box office. On July 1, 2011, the Company through Beijing Bona International Cineplex Investment & Management Co., Ltd. acquired Alpha Speed Limited, and Beijing Bona Starlight Cineplex Management Co., Ltd.
