Buckeye Partners, L.P. (Buckeye) is a master limited partnership. The Company owns and operates independent refined petroleum products pipeline system in the United States, with approximately 6,000 miles of pipeline and 100 active products terminals that provide aggregate storage capacity of over 64 million barrels. The Company owns more than 120 liquid petroleum products terminals with aggregate storage capacity of over 110 million barrels. In addition, it operates and maintains third-party pipelines under agreements with oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical companies, and performs certain engineering and construction management services for third parties. It is also a wholesale distributor of refined petroleum products in the United States in areas served by its pipelines and terminals. The Company operates in four segments: Pipelines & Terminals, Global Marine Terminals, Merchant Services and Development & Logistics.
