Bruker Corporation is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of scientific instruments and analytical and diagnostic solutions that enable its customers to explore life and materials at microscopic, molecular and cellular levels. The Company's segments include Bruker Scientific Instruments (BSI) and Bruker Energy & Supercon Technologies (BEST). The Company's products address the evolving needs of an array of customers in life science research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and applied markets, among others. Within BSI, the Company is organized into three segments: the Bruker BioSpin Group, the Bruker Chemicals, Applied Markets, Life Science, In-Vitro Diagnostics, Detection (CALID) Group and the Bruker Nano Group. BEST designs, manufactures and distributes superconducting materials, primarily metallic low temperature superconductors, for use in magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance, fusion energy research and other applications.
