The technology is based on a porphyrin molecule that has an affinity to bind with cancer cells and cause them to fluoresce red under ultraviolet light. The porphyrin molecule is easy to obtain, manufacture and use. The technology works with a range of cell types. The Company is in the process of developing a range of assays for a range of cancer based on adaptations of the technology. The technology has the potential to diagnose other cancers as well.
