Cobra Biomanufacturing Plc is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company operates as an international provider of contract manufacturing services for the global biopharmaceutical industry. The principal activity of the Company is the provision of manufacturing services for protein, virus and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)-based pharmaceuticals. The Company’s business segments are Protein, Virus, DNA and Cell Line. It operates two United Kingdom-based manufacturing facilities, one located in Keele, Staffordshire, and the other in Cowley, Oxfordshire, both of which trade through the Company’s wholly owned trading subsidiary, Cobra Biologics Limited. The Company’s other subsidiaries are Cobra Oral Technology Limited, whose principal activity will be to develop the oral vaccine platform technology, ORT-VAC; Cobra Biomanufacturing EBT Limited, whose principal activity is to act as trustee to the Company’s long term incentive plan, and Cobra Biomanufacturing LLC, which is dormant.
