China Food Company Plc (China Food) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of cooking and dipping sauces and animal feed products through its subsidiaries in the People�s Republic of China. The Company produces and distributes soya sauce and other condiments together with animal feed to Shandong and the nearby provinces. Its cooking and dipping sauces are sold through a network of distributors and outlets of supermarket chains, such as Tesco, Wal Mart, Carrefour and Jialejia in Shandong and surrounding provinces in Northern China. The Company operates in two segments: Condiments and Animal Feed. The activities undertaken by the condiments segment include the sale of cooking and dipping sauces. The activities undertaken by the animal feed segment include the sale of animal feed. In January 2013, it completed the construction of animal feed factory.
