Description

CE Franklin Ltd. (CE Franklin) is a distributor of pipe, valves, flanges, fittings, production equipment, tubular products and other general oilfield supplies to the oil and gas industry in Canada, through its 44 branches, which are situated in towns and cities that serve oil and gas fields of the western Canadian sedimentary basin. In addition, the Company distributes general oilfield supplies to the oilsands, refining and petrochemical industries and non-oilfield-related industries, such as forestry and mining. CE Franklin’s branch operations service over 3,000 customers. It acts as a one stop shop for the oil and gas industry by providing over 25,000 regularly-stocked stock keeping units (SKU’s) of product and related equipment services. In June 2009, the Company acquired a Western Canadian oil field equipment distributor (the Acquired Business). The Acquired Business operates 22 oil field equipment supply stores across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
