Description

Canfor Pulp Income Fund (the Fund) is an open-ended trust. The Fund has been established to acquire and hold, through a wholly owned trust, the Canfor Pulp Trust (the Trust), investments in the Limited Partnership Units of the Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership (the Partnership), and such other investments as the Trustees of the Fund may determine. The general partner of the Partnership is Canfor Pulp Holding Inc. (the General Partner) and each limited partner holds an ownership interest in the General Partner equal to its proportionate interest in the Partnership. The Partnership is a supplier of pulp and paper products with operations based in the central interior of British Columbia. The Partnership owns and operates three mills with annual capacity to produce over one million tons of northern softwood market kraft pulp, 90% of which is bleached to become northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp for sale to the market, and approximately 140,000 tons of kraft paper.
