Calamos Global Total Return Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of global equity, global convertible and below investment-grade (high-yield) fixed-income securities. It may purchase or write (sell) put and call options. The Fund invests in sectors, such as information technology, consumer discretionary, financials, healthcare, consumer staples, energy, materials, telecommunication services, industrials and utilities.
