Calamos Convertible Opportunities and Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its managed assets in a diversified portfolio of convertibles and non-convertible income securities. The Fund seeks total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income by investing in a diversified portfolio of convertible securities and below-investment-grade (high-yield) fixed-income securities. The Company invests in various sectors, such as energy, materials, information technology, consumer discretionary, industrials, financials, consumer staples, healthcare, telecommunication services and utilities.
