The Bank is a traditional community bank, which is primarily engaged in attracting deposits from the general public through its offices, and using those and other available sources of funds to originate loans secured by single-family residences primarily located in Crawford County, Ohio. To a lesser extent, the Bank originates other real estate loans secured by non-residential real estate and construction loans and non-real estate loans, primarily consisting of consumer loans. The Bank also invests in United States treasury and federal government agency obligations and mortgage-backed securities, which are issued or guaranteed by federal agencies.
